Roller Bearings
Roller bearings can take up loads that are many times higher than those accommodated by ball bearings. This is due to the fact that they transmit the forces acting on them not only through a point (like ball bearings) but through a line. Moreover, roller bearings of many series are available in many varieties without being restricted in their radial load carrying capacity. Over and above this, individual series can also take up axial loads.
