A L-section ring (prefix HJ) expands the function of radial cylindrical roller bearing designs NU or NJ. A combination of NU + HJ facilitates the absorption of axial loads from one direction. When a NJ bearing is combined with an L-section ring HJ, the unit takes on the function of a solid bearing.
Attention: NU bearings with two standard L-section rings must not be used due to the danger of axial rigging of the rolling bearing set.
Standards
The dimensions of KRW L-section rings are in accordance with ISO 246 resp. DIN 616 and DIN 5412.
